You can avoid the nightmare of commuting every day through Glasgow’s one way system by looking at office space in Cambuslang. Many people would know that the main business park in the area is Clydesmill Industrial Estate, located just off the Clydeford Road. As well as this, Glasgow East Investment Park and Cambuslang Investment Park are two main business areas that sit off Main Street and right by the main train station.
With the M74 meeting the A74, road links in the area are a great convenience for those travelling in from the east and west. Three train stations service the area, with Carmyle to the north, right by the M74,and Cambuslang & Kirkhill just south of the river either side of Main Street. All stations service lines from Motherwell in to Glasgow Central, with routes stretching to the West Coast, Edinburgh and all over the UK.
South Lanarkshire College on Hamilton Road and Cathkin High School are the most immediate colleges in the area. Because of the great train links, many students living in the area attend Glasgow Clyde Council in East Kilbride and many of the different colleges in the centre and west end of the city.
Cambuslang is a very residential area. There are a number of parks dotted around the area and two prominent golf clubs (Cambuslang Golf Club & Kirkhill Golf Club). With the city centre being only a short bus or train ride, most people prefer to spend their nights out in the heart of Glasgow.
